Since opening its doors in April 2026, Padel Power has quickly established itself as Northamptonshire’s premier indoor padel destination, welcoming 5,487 players in its first four months and building a thriving community around one of the world’s fastest-growing sports.
The remarkable growth has been driven by Padel Power’s commitment to creating an outstanding experience for players of all ages and abilities. From complete beginners taking their first lesson to experienced competitors playing in leagues and tournaments, the venue has become a year-round destination for sport, health and social connection.
A growing community
Community has been at the heart of Padel Power’s success. Since launch, the club has developed one of the UK’s largest club padel leagues, with over 300 active players competing across men’s, women’s and veterans’ leagues. Regular social sessions, coaching programmes, tournaments and community events continue to attract new players while encouraging existing members to return week after week.
The club has also launched a range of membership options to reward loyal customers and create an inclusive environment where everyone can enjoy the sport, regardless of age or experience.
Delivering an exceptional customer experience
Customer satisfaction has been central to Padel Power’s rapid growth. The venue has achieved a 5.0 Google rating from 89 five-star reviews, with visitors consistently praising the quality of the facilities, the welcoming atmosphere and the friendly, knowledgeable team.
This commitment to excellence has already been recognised with Northants Life’s Best Indoor/Outdoor Activity Award 2026, an independent endorsement of the experience the team delivers every day.
Investing in the future
Padel Power continues to invest in creating one of the UK’s leading active leisure destinations.
From 1 September 2026, visitors will benefit from an exciting expansion of the venue, including:
- A healthy on-site kitchen serving fresh, nutritious food and drinks.
- A fully equipped gym.
- A dedicated reformer Pilates studio.
- A children’s play zone, making the venue even more family friendly.
These new facilities will enable visitors to spend longer at the venue, create additional experiences for families and non-playing guests, and further strengthen Padel Power’s contribution to Northamptonshire’s leisure and tourism offer.
Accessible, inclusive and community focused
Padel Power was designed to ensure everyone feels welcome. The venue offers step-free access, accessible parking, wheelchair access, accessible toilets and changing facilities, family-friendly amenities and is dog friendly, welcoming well-behaved dogs.
Inclusive coaching programmes encourage participation from players of all ages and abilities, while partnerships with local schools, businesses and community organisations continue to introduce more people to the sport and support healthier, more active lifestyles.
Looking ahead
While the first few months have exceeded expectations, this is only the beginning for Padel Power.
With continued investment, expanding facilities and a growing community, the business is committed to making Northamptonshire a recognised destination for active leisure and tourism, creating memorable visitor experiences while supporting the local economy and inspiring more people to discover the enjoyment of padel.
