We’re pleased to see local news reporting on the continued growth of padel across the UK. The Northampton Chronicle & Echo recently covered plans to transform a large vacant warehouse in Northampton into a major new indoor padel centre. A fantastic sign of the sport’s momentum.

The proposal includes nine padel courts, a pickleball court and additional sports and social facilities, highlighting just how quickly padel is expanding and how much demand there is for quality indoor venues. The project also aims to support schools, universities and community groups through coaching programmes and accessible sessions.

At Padel Power, we welcome seeing stories like this make headlines. They reinforce the excitement around padel nationally and align with our own mission to bring a state-of-the-art indoor padel facility to our community in early 2026.
