Planning permission has officially been approved for Padel Power, Northampton’s new premium indoor padel centre.
This major milestone confirms that Northampton will soon be home to a state-of-the-art indoor padel facility, purpose-built to serve the rapidly growing padel community across Northamptonshire.
Following formal approval from West Northamptonshire Council, construction will now begin immediately, bringing high-quality indoor padel courts to Northampton for the first time at this scale.
A New Era for Indoor Padel in Northampton
Padel is one of the fastest-growing sports in the UK, and demand for indoor padel courts in Northampton has never been higher.
Padel Power will deliver a premium indoor padel club designed for players of all abilities, from beginners discovering padel for the first time to experienced competitors playing league and tournament padel.
Phase One of the Northampton development will include:
- Nine indoor padel courts in Northampton
- Pickleball and table tennis facilities
- A café and bar for post-match socialising
- High-spec changing facilities

Construction Begins, Opening April 2026
With courts already ordered in advance of approval, construction will begin immediately to ensure a smooth build process.
The target opening date is 3rd April 2026, marking the launch of Northampton’s premier indoor padel club.
